The UL Hospitals Group is seeing major cancellations across all six of its facilities today.
All outpatient clinics, elective inpatient and day case procedures – with the exception of time-critical cases, diagnostics, cardiac investigations and endoscope services have all been cancelled.
While GP’s have a different IT system than the one hit by the cyber-attack, their communication with the local hospitals has been affected – meaning routine bloods have been cancelled and non-urgent referrals aren’t currently possible.
