On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Timmy Dooley, Clare’s Fianna Fáil Senator, member of the Oireachtas Committee on Environment and Climate Action and Róisín Garvey, Green Party Senator from Inagh.

A new report is warning Ireland won’t have enough electricity to meet demand for the next five winters.

The report recommends delaying the scheduled powerplants for closure. The Moneypoint powerplant in West Clare will now have its lifespan extended to meet demands.
