Today on Morning Focus, John Aston, Managing Director, Astoneco Management and Professor Brend Moeller, University of Flensburg joined us on the line as they are exploring the potential for community-led renewable energy options in Loop Head.
The group of researchers, who travelled to Ireland from the University of Flensburg, have been based in Carrigaholt since the end of January. Working with local communities, the group have explored a range of renewable energy models that could provide the blueprint for energy provision in the peninsula. The project has been facilitated by Astoneco Management
