On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by John Rattigan who is the Clare Museum Curator. John discussed Clare Museums’ aim to expand their current collection of artefacts and are seeking donations to represent the lives of people in Clare for future generations to enjoy. He described the history of the museum and made reference to the 5,000 items that the museum boast in their collection. John mentioned his aspiration to obtain material that will represent the ordinary lives of ordinary women in County Clare, school copybooks and items used in the past along with enhanced information on underrepresented communities in the county.
