On Monday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by SERVE volunteers, Jane O’Loughlin from Kilshanny and Maire Donohue from Lahinch. The two ladies are gearing up to head off overseas at the end of this month with the Irish development and volunteering organisation SERVE. Maire’s destination is Zambia while Jane will travel to India. Jane discussed why she wanted to go to India and what influenced her to volunteer. Maire highlighted how she is a primary school teacher and explained why she wanted to travel to Zambia to volunteer with SERVE. Maire and Jane spoke about the preparation needed for their upcoming adventures.
