The importance of giving blood is hard to overstate and in this county, we have a great track record in donating.
Recently, 170 donors from across Mid West Region were acknowledged for their long term commitment at a special Awards Ceremony in the Greenhills Hotel.
Among those receiving awards were 49 Donors from Clare.

Two of these donors, Brendan Cusack from Lisdoonvarna and Dermot Moloney from Ardnacrusha received an Award of a Porcelain Pelican in recognition of donating 100 times.
