Alan Morrissey was delighted to welcome Joanie Madden to Morning Focus on Tuesday.
Joanie is a renowned flute and whistle player, composer and leader of the internationally acclaimed group Cherish the Ladies.

Founded in 1985, the Grammy-nominated group has spent more than four decades bringing Irish traditional music to audiences around the world.
Now, Cherish the Ladies has been named TG4 Gradam Ceoil Group of the Year 2026, with the awards taking place in Limerick on September 13th.
