On Thursday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Pete Hynes of Aloha Surf School along with Martina Nicholson who is sales and marketing manager in the Lady Gregory Hotel based in Gort County Galway. Pete looked ahead to the upcoming Burren Wellness Month organised by Burren Ecotourism Network in partnership with Slainte Ireland which is set to take place this May. He described the aim of the newly launched initiative with the focus based on the importance of self-care and wellness. Pete outlined an array of events that will be ongoing throughout the month to mark the initiative. Martina focused on the importance of boosting tourism in the Burren area. The Lady Gregory Hotel will be contributing to the wellness month by offering skin consultations along with offering access to the leisure facilities, beauty room and s&c classes.
