Bunratty’s Sinead O’Brien Named Netwatch Clare Family Carer Of The Year

On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Sinead O’Brien. Sinead, who hails from Bunratty, won the prestigious Netwatch Clare Family Carer of the Year award for the exceptional dedication and commitment she shows in caring for her 14 year-old son Cathal, who has a has a rare genetic disorder with profound needs.

The Netwatch Family Carer of the Year Awards, which are now in their 16th year, continue to pay tribute to the remarkable work of over half a million family carers in Ireland who care for children or adults with additional needs, physical or intellectual disabilities, frail older people, those with palliative care needs or those living with chronic illnesses, mental health challenges or addiction.
