On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined live in studio by Madge O’Callaghan who is the PRO of the Clare Older People’s Council along with Mike Hanrahan who is an Age Friendly Ambassador in Dublin and originally from Clare. Madge discussed the local older people’s council which brings the voice of older people into local Government and outlined their theme for this year ‘failte ar ais – welcome back’. Mike urged older people to come forward and join the council which will help improve the quality of life of both younger and older people in time to come.
