Zimmer Biomet Says Clare Resources “Priceless” For Company’s Output

A leading US multi-national has described the resources on its doorstep in Clare as “priceless” to its final product.

Medical Device company Zimmer Biomet employs over 550 people at its manufacturing plant in Shannon, with roughly the same headcount at its facility in Oranmore as well.

The firm, which will soon celebrate 17 years in Ireland is hoping to expand its operations here, following a signifcant investment in its analytical laboratory capabilities.
