Thousands of people have decended from across the country from Cork to Galway on Spancill Hill today for the world famous horse fair.

The traditional fair, which has been held at the famous crossroads for over 300 years, got underway from around 7 am this morning.
Gardai are expecting traffic delays in and around the Tulla area as a result of the fair – and a traffic plan has been put in place with detours signposted for motorsts .
