Met Eireann has issued a wind warning for Co. Clare, with stormy conditions expected later this afternoon and evening.
The Orange warning has been issued ahead of expected severe southwest winds, gusting up to 120 kilometres per hour.

A more severe warning is in place for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo, with winds in those areas to reach up to 150 kilometres per hour.
The Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre has closed as a result, the Coast Guard strongly advises the public not to go out on exposed coasts, cliffs and piers and motorists here are asked to take extra care.
