Gardaí have described the discovery of a woman’s remains in the Wicklow Mountains as a ‘shocking crime.’
It was initially thought the body parts were male but detectives confirmed last night they belonged to a woman.

A man in his 30’s has been arrested in Wexford as part of the investigation.
