White House To Challenge Ruling Against President Trump’s Travel Ban

The White House is promising to challenge a ruling by a U.S. judge to temporarily block President Trump’s travel ban.

The order blocked people from seven – mainly Muslim countries from entering the US – for three months.

Air France and Qatar Airways say they’ve re-opened flights to the United States for people previously affected by the travel ban.

In a statement, the White House called the ban “lawful and appropriate”, and said it’s designed to protect the American people.
