Residents of a West Clare community are being told to expect a more reliable water supply going forward following extensive upgrade works.
Uisce Éireann has confirmed it’s replaced over 6.3 kilometres of ageing water mains with modern pipes in Old Doolough in Coore.

The water utility says the older pipes had been prone to bursts and leaks, and the upgraded network will bring greater reliability to homes and businesses “for years to come”.
Uisce Éireann’s Jack Cronin says it’s part of their wider efforts to reduce leakage nationwide.
