West Clare Councillor Believes Rural Housing Development Plan Needed For Clare

A West Clare Councillor believes a Rural Housing Development Plan is urgently needed to combat the downfall of rural living in this county.

It comes amid suggestions from local representatives that the Government’s ‘Housing For All’ plan may not work as well in Clare as in other counties.

Councillor PJ Kelly believes such plans do not include the needs of people living and working in the countryside and is looking for a seperate development plan for rural housing matters.
