Two Separate Yellow Weather Alerts Issued For Clare

Two separate low level yellow weather alerts are in place for Clare today.

Met Eireann has issued a low level snow-ice alert for the whole country, with wintry showers, mainly of hail and sleet becoming increasingly widespread throughout the day, leading to icy patches.

While a wind alert is in place for Clare from 2 o’clock this afternoon, with winds of up to 60 kilometres per hour and gusts of up to 100 kilometres per hour expected, particularly in coastal areas.
