Gardaí in Clare are urging motorists to drive with care this morning following subzero temperatures overnight.
There are icy conditions on many roads, after temperatures dipped as low as minus 2 in parts of the county.
Gardaí say secondary roads and sheltered areas are particularly bad, as well as entrances to housing estates.
