The Killaloe Coast Guard Unit is issuing a warning to people not to underestimate how much water levels have dipped in our county’s swimming waters.
It’s after they were alerted in recent days to a swimmer who dove into a lake at Pair Head, Killaloe and struck his head off the lake bed.

He received first aid from coast guard volunteers before being brought to a doctor.
