A visiting ban remains in operation at the Psychiatric Unit in Ennis and no new admissions are being accepted due to an outbreak of the Winter vomiting bug.

Seven cases of the noro-virus have been confirmed at the Acute Psychiatric Unit at Ennis General and all new admissions are being directed to the Acute Unit in Limerick for the coming days, until the virus lifts.
There’s also a complete ban on visiting the Ennis Unit which will be reviewed daily – Family members with queries can contact the unit on 065-6863208
