An Ennis Councillor has described as deeply upsetting the vandalism of the local Tree of Hope.
The tree which is planted in Ennis for those who are bereaved by suicide was uprooted over the weekend.

Mary Howard says the entire community is disappointed by the mindless act but fears that it may have been the actions of someone in crisis.
Councillor Howard is appealing to those involved if that is the case to make contact with one of the many organisations who are there to help.
