The US President is scheduled to touch down at Shannon Airport this afternoon.
Donald Trump is travelling on Air Force One and is due to land at the Clare base where the aircraft will refuel.

A major security operation is underway at the facility and it’s understood the US President won’t disembark from the plane.
He’s returning to Washington DC after travelling to Davos where he attended the World Economic Forum.
