The US Ambassador to Ireland says growth at Shannon Airport is testament to the great relationship between Ireland and the US.

Kevin F. O'Malley, an attorney and professor at Washington and St Louis University Schools of Law was sworn in as a US ambassador to Ireland in September last year and is engaging in a number of events in Clare this week.
Representatives from the embassy will be providing consular services to american citizens in Shannon on Thursday at the Park Inn by Radisson Shannon Airport.
Ambassador O'Malley has told Clare FM's Morning Focus that he hopes to build on the relationship between here and the US.
