Upgrades To Wastewater Treatment In West Clare Unveiled By Irish Water

Irish Water has unveiled plans to upgrade the wastewater treatment networks in Kilrush and Kilkee.

As part of the works, the discharge of untreated wastewater in those areas will be stopped and follows a similar announcement a week ago in Clarecastle.

The utility says it’s aiming to enchance the area’s amenity value, and hopes the works will act as a platform for social and economic development.
