United Airlines Speak Of Shannon Hopes As 20-Year Milestone Is Marked

United Airlines insists it IS committed to Shannon Airport.

The airline has celebrated 20 years of services between Shannon and New York, toasting passengers as they landed here yesterday.

They’re the latest of the 1.9 million passengers who have flown on over 13,500 flights on the service since it launched in 1998.

However, United suspended the service this past winter and it also pulled it’s Chicago-Shannon filght altogether.
