The MidWest Region’s main hospital is more than twice as overcrowded as the next busiest facility in the country for the fourth day in a row this week.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation has recorded 105 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick, during this morning’s rounds.

By comparison, 41 patients are waiting for a bed at Sligo University Hospital.
According to the INMO, 505 patients are on trolleys across the country today.
