Two Separate Weather Warnings Issued For Clare As Storm Francis Approaches

Two separate weather alerts have been issued for Clare over the coming 24 hours.

Heavy rain with the potential for flash floods is forecast tonight, as Storm Francis makes landfall.

A yellow rainfall alert is in place in the county from 9pm tonight, while a wind alert comes into force from 6am tomorrow morning, when gusts of up to 110 kilomstres per hour are expected.

An orange level rainfall warning come into effect at 9pm meanwhile for 12 other counties, including Galway and Kerry.
