Two Men Face Burglary Charges Following Aquadome Break-In

Two men are facing four charges of burglary after breaking into Tralee's Aquadome for a late night swim, then going to sleep in a hotel bedroom.

Tralee district court heard 20 year old Eric O'Shea of 17 Loharcannon and Conor Walsh, who's 21 with an address at Ballinorrig South, had entered the Aquadome by trespassing with intent to commit theft on June 22nd, 23rd and 24th.

They then went for a sleep in one of the rooms in the Brandon Hotel.

Mr O'Shea, apologised in court and said he was drunk.

Both men have been placed on curfew between 10pm and 9am and have been remanded on bail to appear before the court again on October 7th.
