Two men have appeared before Dublin District court charged with conspiracy to murder.
38 year old Steven Dunne of Méile an Rí Drive, South Lucan, Balgaddy, Dublin and 34 year old Garry Gleeson of 66 Muskerry Road, Ballyfermot have been charged with possession of a semi automatic pistol, ammunition and intent to endanger life.
The pair were arrested last Monday after Gardaí discovered a loaded gun in a van they stopped in Ballyfermot.

Both have been remanded and are due to appear in court again on the 18th of August.
