A former chairman of the Clare Soccer League is expecting a quality contest in this years Ennis Carpets Clare Cup final.
League champions Avenue United go in search of a third consecutive cup title when they take on Newmarket Celtic in tomorrows decider.
It was Avenue who dethroned Newmarket in the cup final of 2022, while this season saw David Russell’s side wrestle away the league title from Paddy Purcell’s outfit.
