Two Clare Women Write Open Letter Calling On Gov To Address Climate Crisis

Climate activists in Clare are calling on the government to set a date for the Citizens’ Assembly on Biodiversity before the Dáil recess next Friday.

Emma Karran from Doonbeg and Emanuela Ferrari from Ennis have written an open letter to the Department of the Environment calling on the government to meet their committments.

In May of 2019, the Dáil declared a climate emergency in May 2019 and called for the Citizens’ Assembly to examine how they can improve their response.
