Two clare schools receive funding boost

Funding has been granted to two Clare schools in order to replace rented prefabs with permanent classrooms.

An 80 metre square classroom is to be build for the students at Inch National School, while 3 support rooms are to be built at St. Senan’s Primary School, Kilrush.

No specific costs have been announced for the projects, but the Education Minister has announced the building works in KIlrush and Inch as part of a 14 million euro scheme which will help 77 schools.

Meanwhile,

Two schools in South Galway have been given the green light to replace rented prefabs with permanent classrooms.

Ballinderrin NS and Kilchreest NS have received approval for a total of one mainstream classroom and three resource teaching/learning support rooms.
