Two Clare projects have received a combined funding boost of nearly €7.5 million this morning.
A major new rural regeneration fund announced by the Government will see almost €4 million set aside to develop the Holy Island visitor centre in Mountshannon.

Clare County Council has committed to investing a further €1 million in the East Clare project on top of that funding.
More than €3.5 million is also to go towards the development of the Kilrush Maritime Training Centre, with the local authority to pledge another €700,000 to the works from its coffers.
