The US president’s again denied claims of collusion with Russia and insists he didn’t ask for an FBI investigation to be dropped.
It follows the appointment of a special counsel to look into potential links to Russia during the US election campaign. The president also says he’s ‘very close’ to naming a new FBI director after James Comey was sacked.
