President Trump’s National Security adviser has quit over contact he had with Russia before officially taking up the role.
Michael Flynn had denied discussing sanctions with Moscow – but now admits the subject did come up.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s nominee for Treasury Secretary – Steve Mnuchin – has been sworn in by U.S. vice president Mike Pence.
Speaking at the ceremony, President Trump said Mr Mnuchin will be great for the country.
