GAA communites in Clare, Galway and London have been lefted deeply shocked following the sudden death of a young Gort hurler in the UK.
28 year old Cathal Forde collapsed after a training session with Kilburn Gaels in Highgate yeterday evening and was later pronounced dead in hospital.
The former GMIT student along with his brother Niall moved from Gort to London three years ago where he worked as an Engineer.

His family also have close links to Clare -his cousin David Forde is a former member of the Clare Senior Hurling County Team, while other relatives close relations live in the Ennis and Barefield areas.
