Shannon Airport has been honoured for it's role in delivering growth and innovation in the tourism industry.
At a ceremony in Dublin last night, the Mid-West airport was awarded 'Best International Access Initiative' by the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport.

It was one of a number of awards presented by Minister Paschal O'Donohoe who congratulated last night's winners saying they are "the perfect role models for the rest of the sector".
