A low level Thunderstorm alert has been issued for Clare.
Met Éireann is forecasting lightening and spot flooding across this county this afternoon and evening.

The alert, which also covers Limerick, Tipperary, Laois and Offaly is now in effect and remains in place until 8 o’clock tonight.
