Gardaí in Ennis have seized three uninsured vehicles following an operation on the Tulla Road.
The cars included a BMW 5-Series, Nissan Note and a Peugeot Saloon.

The vehicles were stopped within five minutes of each other during the Garda checkpoint, with the Insurance database subsequently showing that two drivers were not named on the policies displayed, while one car had no insurance whatsoever.
Each motorist will face court at a later date.
