The head of the UL Hospitals Group says she's confident there won't be any further delay to the MidWest's new Emergency Department.
Work has begun on the new unit at Dooradoyle, but the targeted opening time of late next year has now slipped back until the early part of 2017.

UL Hospitals Group CEO Colette Cowen says that the unit will open in its totality at that time and that delays are linked with the tendering process for the work.
