A teenage woman is appearing before Ennis District Court this lunchtime, in relation to an attempted armed robbery in Sixmilebridge.
At around 5.40pm on Thursday evening, a woman threatened staff with a scissors in a retail premises there and demanded money before leaving.

No injuries were sustained.
She was arrested by Gardaí yesterday and detained at Shannon Garda Station where she was later charged in relation to the incident and is appearing before Ennis District Court this afternoon.
