Teachers Unions ‘Not Satisfied’ With Haddington Road Agreement

The ASTI and TUI teachers unions say they’re not satisfied with the new public sector pay deal. 

In a statement last night, they said the Haddington Road Agreement is almost identical to the Croke Park 2 proposals they rejected last month.

Finance Minister Michael Noonan says there will be no further talks – and that if the unions reject the deal – the Government will legislate for the cuts.
