Nurses and managment at the Mid West’s main hospital are set to hold talks this afternoon ahead of a planned work stoppage by staff tomorrow.

Members of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation are planning a four hour walkout from the emergency department at Dooradoyle in protest at what they say is chronic overcrowding.
