A new survey has shown overwhelming support for the Government to urgently progress with plans for a new Emergency Department in the MidWest.
The assessment carried out by the MidWest Hospital Campaign received 2,567 public responses between December and January alone.

Over 93% of respondents said they wanted to see HIQA’s option C progressed at the same time as Options A and B which involve increasing capacity on the University Hospital Limerick campus and developing another site nearby.
MidWest Hospital Campaign Spokesperson Marie McMahon says the will of the people needs to be respected.
