It’s claimed that funding announced for childcare facilities in Clare doesn’t go far enough.
33 providers are to benefit from almost half a million euro in funding towards increased childcare spaces, maintanance and building works as well as the development of outdoor play areas.
The funding has been allocated through the Department of Children and Youth Affairs as part of an eight million euro programme aimed at providing supports for working and low income families.
