Gardaí are warning students not to be tricked by rental scams.
CAO offers were given last Friday, and while most students will have hade accommodation already organised for the college year ahead, some might only be looking into it now.
Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer says people shouldn’t be tricked into paying a deposit for a property that doesn’t exist or has already been rented, often to multiple people.
