Met Éireann has issued a weather advisory for Clare over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
The forecaster says there will be potentially windy, or even stormy, conditions here and across other Atlantic coastal counties on Saturday, with the risk of some severe or damaging gusts.

Coastal flooding is also likely, particularly around high tide times and in exposed, low-lying areas, and spring tides, combined with storm surge and persistent onshore winds, will further increase the risk.
The advisory is in effect from Midnight Friday until 2 o’clock on Saturday afternoon, but Met Éireann is expecting to issue warnings in the coming days.
