Final preparations are being made today for the State Funeral of Dr Garret Fitzgerald – which will take place on Sunday.

There will be two opportunities for members of the public to pay their respects – at the Mansion House tomorrow morning, and at the Sacred Heart Church in Donnybrook in Dublin tomorrow evening.
Books of condolence for the former Taoiseach are expected to be opened today.
