A man has been airlifted to hospital after he suffered stab wounds in an incident in Miltown Malbay.

The man, who is in his early-30s, is reported to have been stabbed in the Upper and Lower body and underwent surgery on his hand last night.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the stabbing in a rented house at Coore West yesterday, and then transported him by ambulance to the Fair Green in Ennis from where he was airlifted to hospital in Galway.
The man's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A second man has been arrested in light of the incident, and remains in custody at Kilrush Garda Station.
Gardaí in Ennistymon are investigating.
